Gareth Thomas, MP for Harrow West “cut the ribbon” (Friday 16 November) at the official opening of a new ATM at North Harrow Post Office, 370 Pinner Road, Harrow HA2 6EA.

Gareth Thomas MP, said: “I am pleased to be officially opening this ATM at North Harrow Post Office in the heart of the community. I know how important local Post Offices are to my constituents – and it’s great that it now has an ATM making it even easier to customers to access their cash.”

The branch itself is open from 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Saturday, with a selection of Post Office services available at the retail counter, which is available during the shop opening hours from 8am – 8pm Monday to Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday.  This ensure that the branch is more convenient, as people have more choice of when to visit.

North Harrow Postmasters Mr and Mrs Shankar said: “Local residents and small business customers are be able to access a range of Post Office and mails services, including Special Delivery, Local Collect, home shopping returns and take advantage of a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals, deposits and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.

He added: “We are delighted that our customers now have the added convenience of this new ATM where they can also top-up their mobile phones.”

Mark Cazaly, Post Office Public Affairs Manager said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.

He added: “We hope residents of North Harrow will be pleased to have a new ATM in the area.”
