I joined police officers in Wealdstone again; to hear their ongoing work to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, particularly along the High Street and in Byron Park.
A stronger police presence has had a sustained impact but there are still real issues with antisocial behaviour (particularly near the Clocktower) and street drinking.
I want Wealdstone to be safe, and crucially to feel safe, for everyone locally and I am determined to keep up the pressure on Harrow Council to step up their enforcement work to support the police better.
