In Harrow, we don’t yet have the level of local policing that we had under the last Labour Government, when each ward had a Sergeant, 3 police constables and 3 or 4 PCSOs. I’ve written again to the Met Police to push for a greater share of police in Harrow to serve us across the borough but especially in the Town Centre, Wealdstone, South Harrow and Rayners Lane.

I’ve asked to see an assessment for Harrow’s town centre, which we know experiences disproportionately more crime and must certainly be comparable to Harlesden and Uxbridge (both recently securing more police resources).
