Whilst I fully appreciate the urgency of this situation and that time is of the essence, please bear with us, as my staff and I are responding to an unprecedented level of casework at this time. My small team have already been busy tackling the increased levels of enquiries from constituents throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and are now also urgently trying to manage the large numbers of enquiries for those in and with family members trying to leave Afghanistan.

Unfortunately for the cases that we are receiving a response on from the FCDO or Home Office, their reply is often limited to Information already widely available to the public. I am extremely disappointed and dismayed by their poor response and the Government’s overall approach to this urgent situation.
